Synopsis: Upcoming young pop star Annette Bishop is abducted and her chauffer, Bob Wilson, is shot. The abductors, Danny Clark and Ted Randle, are demanding a ransom, and it transpires that the girl's mother, Sandra Bishop, is in league with them. Later the girl's father, ex-prisoner Des Bishop, muscles in on the act, but at this stage it looks as if Annette has died from an overdose of sedatives.
